ABOUT MARIA

It begins with
a feeling.

I’m Maria Andriiuk, a self-taught concept designer exploring how spaces can make people feel. I’m drawn to creating experiences that feel unexpected — imagining places that do not yet exist and giving them a clear visual story. Nature is at the heart of my work: its forms, textures, light and quiet beauty shape the atmosphere of my concepts. I bring these influences into ideas for hotels, spas, restaurants, retreats and homes, always looking for a distinctive experience rather than a familiar formula. My work connects a central idea with moodboards, materials, lighting direction, guest journeys and concept imagery. I welcome projects of different scales when there is an original idea to explore.

Spatial concept & creative direction

A central idea and story for a hotel, spa, restaurant, retreat, residential space or other original brief. Deliverables can include a concept narrative, moodboard, colour and material palette, lighting direction and key focal points.

Concept visuals & presentation

Concept images, selected viewpoints and a curated PDF presentation that explain the proposed atmosphere and design direction. The number of images, presentation scope and revision rounds are agreed before work begins.

Brand concept & visual identity

Naming ideas, logo concepts, colour palettes and a visual direction that connects a place’s identity with its spatial concept. This can include a visual moodboard and presentation of the proposed identity; final production files are scoped separately.

Guest experience & spatial storytelling

An imagined journey through a space, from arrival to its main experiences. Deliverables can include a guest journey map, key moments, atmosphere references and a visual narrative for the concept presentation.

Further design development

If the project needs measured plans, technical drawings, 3D modelling or walkthrough animation, we can discuss these as separate stages. The required qualified specialists, their availability and their scope must be confirmed before any commitment.

    I develop the concept and refine the agreed direction with your feedback. Any specialist stages require a separately confirmed scope and team.

    You receive the agreed presentation and files, with next steps for any further design development.
